This has nothing to do with on-line biz or marketing, but I wanted to share this with you.
We have 2 cats-Huntley and Brinkley. They’re 16 months old.
This is about Brinkley.
I just came back from the kitchen for another cup of coffee when I had to stop for “The Blur”.
Brinkley starts with a head of steam in the kitchen. Since the floor is tile, he revs it up to around 4000 rpm and doesn’t do much until he hits the dining room - which is carpeted, then he really takes off.
He’ll negotiate the slight curve into the living room and take the sofa in one leap. He hits in the middle and stops when he runs into the big picture window at the end of the sofa. He looks at me like he’s saying “I really meant to do that”. He’ll stand for a minute looking at the squirrels running up and down the red maple in the yard, swish his tail back & forth - I really wish I was out there.
His return trip is the exact same route, but when he hits the kitchen he’ll slide until he hits the fridge. This usually stops him. If he bounces off, he’ll take two quick circles, (I think this has something to do with running into the window),then prepare for the living room launch again. Head down, check. Butt up, check. We have liftoff!
My Wife put a collar and bell on both of them so we can hear them coming. This helps. When you hear the bell (especially when you have hot coffee in your hand), stop and listen which direction the sound is coming from.
Well I’m off for another cup of coffee…
